Cancellation Policy

We understand that sometimes things don’t quite go according to plan. In our commitment to providing the best level of service to all our clients and to ensure the therapists time, space and efforts be respected, we operate under the following policies:

Client:

We operate on a ‘by appointment only’ basis so if an appointment is cancelled at short notice or not attended for any reason, this time cannot be reallocated to other clients. Please let us know as soon as possible if you cannot attend your appointment to enable us to offer the appointment slot to other clients.

We operate a strict 24 hour cancellation policy, in which we require a minimum of 24 hours advance notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. If more than 24 hours notice is given, you will not incur a charge. If the minimum of 24 hours advance notice is not given, full charge of the service fee is payable. The cancellation fee must be paid within 7 days of the cancellation.

Therapist:

  • The cancellation fee may be waived at our discretion.
  • We have the right to cancel a treatment by giving at least 24 hours notice.
  • We have the right to cancel a treatment without notice if for some reason the room or clinic environment is not suitable for treatment to be provided, or if the therapist is taken ill.
  • We have the right to cancel an appointment if the client is intoxicated or inebriated.
  • We commit to rearranging appointments to a new date and time within 14 days of the cancellation where possible.

Late arrival

  • Appointment times are specifically arranged so if you arrive late for your scheduled appointment, your session may be shortened to accommodate the following appointments.
  • Depending on how late you arrive, the therapist will determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment.
  • Regardless of the length of treatment given, if you were late, you are responsible for the full charge of the booked session.

Inappropriate Behaviour

  • We have the right to terminate a treatment immediately if the client demonstrates inappropriate behaviour including but not limited to any illicit or sexual remarks, advances or gestures.
  • Full payment for the session is expected even if it had to be terminated early.
